Rabbit Hole: Brigitte & Emmanuel Macron
Last week I found myself down the most absurd & unexpected rabbit hole. As I was preparing to write this, I thought, wait this needs it’s own section. All of the rabbit holes and strange things I could tell you about. The mainstream media would call most of these “conspiracy theories” but if you dive deep enough you’ll see a lot of them have merit. A lot of them make you wonder just how much we don’t know about our government, other countries, and what’s to come. There’s now a “Rabbit Holes” tab on the site if this is your kinda thing too.
So for this one... Brigitte & Emmanuel Macron. Where to even begin. Who are they? Well, they’re the President and First Lady of France. Did I expect to lose 6 hours of my life learning about them? No, but here we are.
Their age gap is merely a dent in the iceberg. Fun fact: did you know an iceberg can flip over? And when it does it reveals the bottom, almost never seen, and all the debris it’s collected. It’s a lot like this story. See, there’s some people who believe Brigitte Macron was born a male and ultimately groomed her now husband. Her husband who ‘some’ believe could potentially be her child, fathered prior to transitioning. Furthermore, ‘some’ believe Brigitte’s 3 children are not her children at all but perhaps nieces and nephews. So many questions, so few answers. Furthermore, how and why do the Macrons keep finding themselves closely tied to people accused of pedophilia?
It sounds insane. I know. Stay with me.
When the Macrons took up residency in the Palais de l'Élysée so many were curious. The media painted them as lovers destined to be together. Despite having met when Brigitte was 39 and Emmanuel 15 (actually 14 some say) it was a love story for the ages. Or so the France media painted it. Brigitte and Emmanuel met when she was a teacher and he just a student performing in a school play. Years later, their connection still strong, they eventually got together after Brigitte divorced her first husband who she had 3 children with. The media would paint her as a gorgeous young woman, captivating, all of the boys loved her and the girls envied. Emphasis on boys.
Journalists wanted to cover their glamorous First Lady. Where did she come from, how did she get here? However, despite what was shared carefully and to curated perfection by their PR Queen, Mimi Marchand, Brigitte’s life was nearly a black hole.
Emmanuel published an autobiography where he speaks mostly of his grandmother and his adoring memories with her. A lot of those memories include reading. Emmanuel’s grandmother loved to read- but the books would become questioned and a curious point as they seemed to be pedophilic in nature. Otherwise Emmanuel’s history was a bit blank as well.
Something the couple shared- it seemed neither existed in photographs or otherwise until they married each other. Odd.
